Dr. Mondschein received his medical degree from Georgetown University School of Medicine. His urological training was completed at Long Island Jewish Medical Center.

Dr. Mondschein is an attending urologist at both North Shore University Hospital, Manhasset and St. Francis Hospital, Roslyn.

Dr. Mondschein is certified by the American Board of Urology and is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons.

Office Specialty

Leonard J. Mondschein, M.D., a senior partner and practicing urologist since 1970, joined the practice in 1988. Dr. Mondschein maintains a busy general urological practice caring for patients. In addition to performing various in-office procedures including vasectomies, prostate biopsies, and cystoscopies; Dr. Mondschein has a special interest in the diagnosis and treatment of hematuria.
