CAT Scan Suite—GE Single Slice High Speed Advantage CT/i Perfomix 6.3 MHU Tube
CAT Scan, used to detect abnormalities such as infections, tumors, cysts, blood clots, and fractures
Urodynamics Suite—Karen Hiller, RN, MSN,ANP
Urodynamic studies investigate your bladder, urethra, and sphincter to assess their efficiency. They consist of studies to assess how your bladder fills, stores, and empties.
X-Ray Suite
IVP/KUB: (X-ray of the bladder, kidneys, and urinary tract)—intravenous pyelogram: X-ray of kidney, urinary tract and bladder using dye (KUB No dye used)
Procedure Suites
Indigo Laser Treatment—used to eliminate excess tissue
Digital Cystoscopy—visual examination of the bladder and urinary tract
B. In-House Services
In-House Pathology Laboratory
The pathologist in our office reads prostate biopsy slides and urine cytology slides.

Processes PSA, Free PSA, Urine Culture, Cytology, BUN, Creatinine
In-House Surgical Booking Office
Our in-house surgical booking staff serve as liaisons between patient and doctor pre- and post-surgery. They coordinate care with patients and schedule all ambulatory (out-patient) and in-patient surgical procedures at North Shore University Hospital, Manhasset and St. Francis Hospital, Roslyn.
In-House Clinical Research Department
Urology Associates, P.C. is currently involved in four to five clinical trials—testing new medications and treatment options.
